Dana/Lyell Forks Stream Flow
I am going to be in Bridgeport next week and was thinking of taking a day trip up to Yosemite to fish the Tuolumne Meadows area. Has anyone been up there recently who could give me an idea of whether either branch is fishable? If not, does anyone have an idea of who I might call to find out?
Thanks for your help,
Bill

Even if the flows are up, the Lyell Fork is likely worth the trip. At summer flows, it’s a fish on every cast on ants, soft hackles are even better if that’s possible. Take the time to hike to the meadow section(s). Bigger fish in the lower meadow, but still mostly small brookies.
