Danger on the Yuba

If you plan on running up the Yuba be aware that there is a serious obstruction just under the surface just before you get to the off road park area. On our way back today we observed two boats that hit the obstacle and both had holes punched in the boats’ bottoms. The sheriff was there and was very helpful in getting a tow truck down to pull the boats out.

Two boats knocked out of commission in one day, ouch!
Fortunately no one was hurt. Does anyone have any pictures of the location? That would certainly help us avoid the hazard, whatever it is.
