    Default Zihuatanejo mid June?

I'm heading down for a week and plan to take 2-3 boat trips and do some surf fishing. Anyone fished there before and have any tips on good boats/skippers or surf fishing areas?

    Thanks,

    Kenny

I just got a rely back from a friend who use to go down there for 6 weeks at a time every spring and go out almost daily with his favorite guide.

"Best time for Roosters .Best Capt Dos Hermanos"

Looks like your timing is good.

I know his guide is tops and they use to tease up big Roosters just outside the surf south of town.

They use a special spoon with no hooks to tease them up.

I think he used a 9' #10 line rod with a tropical floating line.

If his guide is booked he should be able to connect you with someone good?

    Kenny,

Make sure you take some Tan Airheads or Tan and white Crease flies...A good caster will catch more fish then a guy with good flies But having both will make you golden. Good luck
