    Abel Super 8 or Super 9 reel - artistic finish (as pictured) wood handle old style drag knob.

    You can change out the handle and the drag knob......

    I never could understand why they would build a beautiful reel and then stick that ugly black drag knob on it....wouldn't you think for all that money they would at least make the knob the same color? Just my 2 cents

    Help me better understand your abbreviations . Do you HAVE the pictured reel ?, or you want to buy or trade something for one like is in the picture ?

    I've got one in a Super 8 that I love for special occasions and trips. Collecting Abels is addictive.
