Probably when Folsom is reduced to 20% so we can see drought flows all summer long...

No need to grumble just yet, so far we’re in very very good shape for the lower river:

Very favorable numbers for this time of year, and they aren’t draining Folsom at all just yet. The inflow was nearly 80,000cfs a couple days ago, and current inflow-outflow is nearly a push:

Looks to me like classic withdrawal symptoms, tell your wife and school that an intervention may be justified, clearly you need some fishing time asap! Our poor raft is looking a bit neglected too lately, we should fix that.

Take a look at the links I posted above to get a very rough sense of what’s happening in real time. As far as when the might cut back on the flows??? Hard to say for sure, but I would suspect that they would want to reduce the storage amount at least a bit before doing so. Inflows should drop off a bit this week, so they might step flows down as the inflows drop down to 5,000-6,000cfs?
    Purely guessing of course JB

Haha. I think you're right, Jason. My negativity usually comes to light when I haven't hit the water in a while. I'm on spring break this week and quite bummed that almost all the rivers are blown. Even my secret bass pond is a no go right now because it's chocolate milk. Lets knock the dust off that raft and make sure she still floats!
