    Default On the Washington Coast

I spent some days in Washington. Rivers were on the low side which means not many new fish are coming up but also means there are places you can wade and swing on your own without a boat. I am certain you will recognize the area but I will pretend it is a big secret. Fish were caught and photos were taken. Get out there and enjoy.

Gravel bar with a nice backdrop.

Swinger lineup with a loyal dog standing by.

Early morning swinger with sea lice about 1.5 miles from the salt. Probably came up the night before.

    Casting at first light.

Rainbow touching down in the middle of the river. Angler on the gravel bar under the rainbow.

    A nice three salt fish.

An upper river swinger. Trip maker for me.

Vivid colors on this fish in the clear water.

Doing some hiking along the coastal trail.
