Default Is the Future of Eel River Dams, Salmon & Stelhead Being Decided Behind Closed Doors?

A very informative audio interview with "Friends of the Eel River" on natural/political history of Potter Valley Project and social/economical/political/biological ramifications of transferring liability of the two Eel River dams (Cape Horn and Scott) by PG&E.

The outcome of this will certainly determine the fate of salmon and steelhead in the Eel and South Fork Eel Rivers.

    Question PG&E Dams

Interesting development. The written article mentions selling or giving up their interest in both dams. Thinking out loud, here, a sale might result in a gain but since they're considering giving up their interest, it sounds like there's some type of risk involved with retaining ownership of the dams. Wonder what that risk might be???
