My wife and I have a full set of original Sage Bass rods.


They were designed by Jerry Siems at Sage and a team of top bass fly fishers including Kevin Doran.

Sage also designed a special set of weight forward floating fly lines too.

You can use any appropriate size fly reel.

They made the LMB, SMB and Bluegill sizes.

Then they made the heavier Peacock Bass size.

They are 7' 11" in 4 pieces and designed for top water fishing.

The LMB size is the best seller.


After the first series Sage came out with an improved Bass series II


We use the LMB size in the mangroves for Snook and Baby Tarpon.
