    Default Murdich Minnow

I wanted to tie a Murdich Minnow which I saw in a smallmouth book but could not find the materials at the fly shop. I ended up making my own version of it instead which I like. I changed the body material, added some weight, some angel hair on the top and the fish mask. Hopefully it will catch some smallmouth this summer. I also put together a homemade light box to take the photo which came out pretty good. Much better than photos of flies I have taken in the past. SST got some really good fly photos using a light box so I decided to try it.

    John,
I'm imagining that on a saltwater hook.
    Thanks for sharing!
