Default Pot Farm on Mad River....

The article says the county approved an application for re-zoning to develop a 5000 square foot grow on the north bank of the Mad River where the company making the proposal is currently conducting a gravel mining operation. Seems to me both operations present issues for fish/humans but....

Maybe this is nothing more than illegal pot growers opposing legal competition....(???)

When I went to HSU back in 86-89 that little section of river produced a lot of nice steelhead. Reading up on " volatile solvents to produce various cannabis products" is basically butane used in a closed loop process to produce hash. Meh, let them build it. Butane has to be better than rodenticide.

"Volatile organic compounds will pollute drinking water.....". If the compounds are volatile they wont be soluble in water. Sometimes people smell their own volatile organic compounds a bit to much
