Putah Creek 2017-2018 spawn is in full swing - let it be if you care for the fish

2017-2018 Spawn is in full swing! Please consider not fishing the creek until after it's over. The fish you catch now will have less success in producing the next generation of trophy fish. Lactic acid is toxic to egg viability. This is a small and delicate fishery that has been through a rough few years. Go out and appreciate the fish in their glory but consider giving them a break until at least February - March.
