    Default skagit adjusters

    Hello-

I have a pack of CND Skagit adjusters. These were for some of the original Skagit lines developed. 2,3 and 4' lengths to better "balance and adjust" those original lines.

I am wondering if they would work on a 9' rod, attached to the end of your floating line like a mini skagit head? Wouldn't that work??

    Anyone tried this?

i would think they would hinge badly. Kind of depends on what floating line you are attaching them to but if you are using a tapered floating line and attach these to the front think you will have pretty significant issues with turn over and hinging

Thanks Rick. I think you are correct, didn't think about the hinge factor.
How about a shooting head for a 3wt?? ha...

    slage,
You might try something like AirFlo's Light Trout polyleaders.
They come in several lengths and densities. Rio's
    are called Versi-leaders.
