Default Is RVing in your retirement?

RVing is not for everyone but lots of fly fishers love it.

The time to buy an RV is after you retire so you can have the time to actually use it.

I seem to have been RVing for about 60 years but not Commando style.

We can talk all about this subject......

    Bill,

I agree. I agree so much we offer RV fly fishing tours to help people find areas to fish and camp. We also help people with the RV. I have taught more people to back up an RV in the last couple of years. It's a great time and a great learning experience!

And a great way to see the country. I've been using trailers and fifth wheels for 45 years. I've used small trailers for fishing and elk hunting trips to Montana, Oregon, and Colorado. Everything from 20' pull trailers to 36' fifth wheels. We live in Nor Cal and Montana but still have the urge to head to AZ for a couple months in the winter. Just ordered a new Bighorn...can't wait for the maiden voyage.

RVing can be a lot of different things.

It can be a cargo van with a bed and camping gear all the way to a big diesel pickup and a giant 5th wheel.

Kirsten & I have a 26 footer that we love. It is the jayco 26BH. It has no slides so I can squeeze it in to many places. It has solar panels, 4 batteries and a Honda generator. It is light at 5700 pounds. We like it because it has a walk around queen, a couch and a double bunk in back. It also has a full bathroom with large tanks.

    Awesome Rig.

Just FYI we are doing two host campouts this year with guest. The first is the Lake Almanor Campout in June and the second is the Lassen Stillwater Campout in July. Email or call for details.

    Thanks

We've been in Arizona since November. Bought a 42' Bighorn and Ram Diesel to tow it around with. By the way, fishing sucks in Bullhead City. Heading back to Idaho mid March to re-evaluate this Snow Bird crap. Bored out of my mind but I could be a full timer in this rig! Just need to find RV Parks that are next to some good fishing. Maybe South Texas?
