Know of fire victims in need of fishing gear?

Wondering if Kiene Forum members know of fly fishing
folks who have lost gear in the tragic fires? Many of us have
things that are gathering dust and could help folks in need.
Not sure how to coordinate this, but maybe adding to this thread
would be a start if you know of someone. We saw this in the San Diego area in 2003 and again
in 2007; fortunately, not such a loss of life.

There was a post from one person on Speypages - the thread title included “Atlas Fire” - who lost his place and was looking to replace gear if anyone there was looking to sell. He posted pics that he found online of his house burning and what was left - terrifying views.

That's very generous Larry. My friend Jake lost his fishing gear (along with everything else but wife and dog) in the Atlas Fire, and I'm sure he is just one of many. He isn't a member of this forum, but I could certainly put him in contact (or vice versa) with anyone who feels willing and able to part with some gear. Most of his fishing was either in local Napa waters and ponds or the Sierras.
