    Default Live Forever

I was on the East Walker last weekend and put together a two minute camping and fishing video. Mostly still photos with a little video and some Billy Joe Shaver. I wish I had gotten more video as I am starting to like a mix of video and stills. Hopefully it is a two minute fishing trip when you are sitting in your office or at home and has an old timey Great Basin feel to it. It has been a few years since I was there so it was good to get back. The water level was higher than I have seen it in the fall and the fishing seemed typical of past trips. Cold nights with temps in the teens so a lot of wood was burned.

The video link and a couple photos are below.

Great, thanks. Did you use a gopro for the sun and moon rise video? Those scenes were great.

Bill - I was in the shop many years ago and there were photos on the counter of an East Walker trip into Nevada. Probably the same trip.

We were sitting around the fire and talking about when the moon would be rising and decided to do a DSLR time lapse. It did not work very well but looks okay in the video. After that I bought a cable release and might try some night shots next time I am doing some dark season camping. Possibly in a couple of weeks on the Oregon Coast. I do need to buy GoPro.
