    Default AR flows

    SO my prediction back in May was 13 days ahead of schedule...

    I said 2000 cfs on October 1, 2017 and here are the actuals:

    Unless we get early rains it should stay that way for a while.

    Yes, and even early rains shouldn't make much difference. The first rains always percolate and seldom make it to the reservoirs in any substantial volume.

    Should be a great steelhead season.

    Still a long ways off, but at this moment Accuweather is forecasting ~14" of rain in December for the Lower American River area:

    Floated the river yesterday with Andy. Interesting to see the changes, some for the better and some come not so much. Didn’t land any adults or half pounders. Found two schooly strippers and one quarter pounder. Starting to see some redds with a small number of salmon. (Sunrise to Grist Mill)
