I have a custom built 7'6" Steffen glass, that a friend (and professional builder) wound up. My favorite part is it has this big fat cigar grip. I wish my other rods had fatter grips. Wish it ws 4 piece not three so it would pack nicely when I access small streams by mountain bike.
I wish there were choices for a 7'6" 5 or 6 weight still. It'd be nice for casting big flies in small streams on windy afternoons.

Fenwick FF70 G code (mid 1960's) 7' 4wt with Heddon model 320 (late 1960's). Nothing sweeter than old fiberglass!

Owens River Rods 8ft 4wt split Bamboo with an older Hardy Featherweight. I just put it in the truck and I'm headed to my home water now (Bishop Creek) BobK
