    Once we sold a customer a really nice small stream rod they would use it more than their larger rod.

    My first "real" fly rod was a Fisher Original 9' #5/6 - 4 piece. Still have that rig and fish it very seldom.

    Seemed big so I picked up an Orvis Far & Fine 7'9" 5 wt. What a sweet stick - you just looked where you wanted it to go and there it went.

    Gave it to a friends a few years back who was interested in learning, she never used it since then.

    Still makes me sad...
