Default Salmon on the Lower Rogue River has been good

I think August and September has been good in the Lower Rogue River for King salmon.

Some fly fish for them but most are caught trolling.

Next Fall we will be up there for a week RVing with family and friends.

Most of the upriver bound fish left the estuary with the cool weather this past week and things slowed down a bit - but only temporarily. The Indian Creek fish showed up and the fishing picked back up again (mostly trolling). It's been outstanding this summer! The coho have also showed up in the estuary and I hear fly fishing for steelies in the lower river has been very good.
