Another Smallie/Striper Trip
My fishin' partner and I made another trip with Maury Hatch for Delta Bass yesterday. Had another great day of beautiful Delta scenery, birds and weather (a bit breezy at times tho). We covered a bunch of water and caught fish at every stop; some more than others but caught something at each stop.
We caught a Pikeminnow, Smallies, Largemouth, Spots, hybrids and Stripers, and, as usual, my partner caught the largest Striper. She's got the touch that's for sure. We caught all but the Stripers on poppers. That sure is fun.
The constant conversation and burritos were really appreciated. If you get a chance, I would highly recommend a trip with Maury (First Hatch Guide Service). You won't be disappointed.
