Would highly recommend Steve Bonner in Grants Pass. Also would not come until about the 10th of October for both low flows and salmon will be spread through out the river. The

The Ashland Fly Shop has several excellent guides. Give Will a call. They cover the upper river down to the Grants Pass area.
Either Nate Bailey, On the Fly Guide Service or Gino Bernero, Confluence Outfitters, both are excellent

I did a trip out of the Ashland fly shop with John Hazelet , my spelling might be off on the name. Excellent guid and knows the Rogue .
That was in March 2 years ago for winter steel. Landed one and had one other on. Give them a call!

I have heard all those names before but at 72 it is hard to bring them up our of my memory banks.
Looks like they have a really fine selection of top guides up there.
October is usually the big month up there, on average.
