    Default Leaders for Tamine?

    Anyone been down there?

I have heard some people go with straight floro 30 or 40# and then have 30-40# wire.

Anyone use a 9 -10 ft as Striper of saltwater tapered leader and add wire it it?

    Thanks

I just got back. We fished 6 feet of straight 40 lb mono Albrighted to 18" or so of 40 lb knotable wire. Surprisingly easy to cast on an 8 or 9 wgt rod with a 330 or 375 gr Outbound Short floater. Fishing wasn't red hot, but was better than decent, and the rivers and jungle were astonishing. We landed fish to 24 lbs. BTW,I've a handful of unused Andino Deceivers and Titanic Sliders that I'd part with if you're interested.

Everyone used 40 lb wire because that's what was on the gear list. No LH sliders.

I have 40 but also 30. Do you think 30 is too light?

Is titanic slider a streamer or popper?
