8'0" 4wt T&T Heirloom Fiberglass (custom)
8’0” T & T Heirloom, custom built by me. 3/1, 4wt., 4.00 oz. The Heirlooms are no longer being produced by T&T. It's a shame that they were so expensive (over $700 new from the factory) which kept them out the hands of many folks who would have enjoyed their unique style. By that I mean they are steep taper rods, similar to Dickerson bamboo, with a buttery, true medium action. The 3 and 4 weights are tremendous rods; the 5 weights got too heavy/stodgy for my liking.
I built this one with a real T&T black aluminum reverse S/L seat with maple spacer. It has a moss green agate stripper to match the blank and black nickel Snakebrand snakes an top. The paprika silk wraps are tipped light olive. Comes with a custom bag and a gray "crinkle" aluminum tube. Brand new, lawn cast only. $425 shipped to CONUS
