No, I haven't bought a cabin yet.
As to my question, are there quality camper vans for less than $100,00? And if so, what are they?

I think you can.....
You can buy a used one from a private party or get a slightly used van and get a few things installed.

Just got an old one ton pickup, looking to get into a cabover camper so I can tow a boat. Two toys I will get once savings build back up. Previously we always slept in the camper shell, but with a kid on the way I think a cabover will be the way to go. The goal is 1-2+ week long trips when I can get away from work to travel the west fishing and camping.
I have a friend who has a Mercedes Sprinter. She loves it, despite the major mechanical problems she has had. She bought it used for $90,000. They are beautiful, in my opinion. And if you have the money, more power to you. I just have to think there would be a market out there for a quality camping van in the 50 to 60K range. People loved the Volkswagen vans, which are available in other countries, but not here.
