    Or this one:

I can understand why you want this rod, I have one, I overline it with the old Rio Grand #6 WF line and it's extremely pleasant to cast, nice loops.
    I think a 490-4 would make a nice ~5wt rod.

Def my favorite rod. I have the exact one and I still have a hard time putting it down. I landed a 2 foot brown on the East Walker in the spring and it didn't let me down. Jump on a good one.

Do you overline yours? I have a 590-4 and I run Rio Grand 6 WF on it (which is closer to 6.5 weight). That makes that rod shine though it's annoying
when I want the rod to actually be delicate. I've thought about finding a 490-4 or 486-4 so I actually have what I think of as a true 5wt.

I have only used rio gold 5wf. Might be something I should try because I use it mainly to throw small buggers/streamers in Sierra and Eastern Nevada.

If you like that rod with 5wf, oh, my, lord, are you going to love it with rio grand 6wf. It's stunning how much better it is.
