    Default Jay Fair memorial

Last Saturday I had the honor of attending Jay Fair's memorial on the shores of Eagle Lake. There was a nice group of anglers, writers, family and friends. Many kind words and very humorous stories were told. I also met Valerie Aubrey of Eagle Lake Guardians and she was happy to report that in the near future the lake levels should be rising.
I was lucky to visit Jay and Glen in Red Bluff and gleen some valuable information regarding Klamath and Agency Lakes. Something I noticed was the loving care that Glen gave his dad. Jay must have been a pretty good father as well. I can only hope my kids will treat me as kindly.

Jay had a long life with many good days on the water with old friends.

He was so good for our little sport of fly fishing.

Kind of the God Father of Stillwater fly fishing for many of us.
