That was an awesome movie. Made me think of how special my relationship with my wife of 29 years is.
It was June 4th 1983 that she called me on the phone to ask me if I wanted to go fishing at Folsom Lake. We had met the night before at the Dry Diggins restaraunt and bar in Auburn, and we both rarely drink. When I hung up the phone, I told my roommate that a beautiful woman had called me up for a date and she wanted to take me fishing, I then told him I was going to marry this woman. I did and my life had changed for the better and she is still my best friend.
This is what a great movie/story can do. Make you think how lucky we are.
    Thanks for sharing this clip.

My wife fly fished with me several times on the Upper Dean River in BC for trout plus fly-out lakes up there, at Christmas Island 3 times for Bonefish, the Yucatan for Baby Tarpon, and jet boated the lower Klamath River for Steelhead a few times.

She is more interested in her 7 grand kids now though......

Age has a way of eroding our dedication to the search, at least for some of us. Heavy water, rainy days all that stuff has become good excuses to stay home. About the only thing that gets me really excited to wet a fly is when the wife suggests painting. I'll do anything to avoid painting!!

As for the video, I really enjoyed it. Some of those tucked away ranches up in the Salmon area of Idaho are sure pretty. Nice way to live!
