    Default Wooden drift boat restoration

    Hi all,

I'm buying a 14 ft wooden drift boat for next to nothing and wanted advice on repair costs.

The boat has great bones and no holes or leaks.

It does need to be re-finished and the hull re-fiber glassed.

Has anyone out there done this kind of work?

What would you estimate for material costs?

    .

Thanks jersey! I've been finding a ton of forums on the topic but had not seen the one you sent. I plan on posting pictures during the restoration. Cheers- Mike

I would look at YouTube videos on fiber glassing wooden boats.
