Default Safe flows for a motorized boat on the American?

I've been getting my new boat ready for Striper season and hopefully I can have her finished by the middle of may. School has made it difficult to get all the work done before summer. I was wondering if any of you folks have experience with taking motorized boats on the lower American River at high flows like we have now. I floated the river a few weeks ago with a buddy of mine in a raft, this was when the flows were at 10K and it seemed pretty manageable then. Not sure about 15K or higher. The boat is a 1468 Polar Kraft mod-V with a 35hp prop outboard. Thanks for the help!

Andy Guibord says about 15,000 cfs is a good maximum for most of us.

He has been out at 17,000 cfs.

He said the only two places to launch right now are Sailor Bar and Rossemoor Bar off the gravel.

Watt, Howe and Discovery are closed/flooded.
