This item will prevent damage to your camper shell if you need to put boats, kayaks, pontoons etc on top of your shell. It breaks down into 2 pieces or it can be transported in place. It is 6' 3" tall from the ground or could be adjusted higher by drilling a different hole. It is 5' 4" wide. I originally used this on a full size Dodge 3/4 ton truck with camper shell.
