This is a very wonderful event that is enjoyed by many fly fishers.

It is an annual International Spey casting event but also a chance to visit the historic GGACC facility in Golden Gate Park..

    Bill,
I always watch the videos of this event. The gals are amazing.
I think there are only three casting ponds in Ca. The SF, Long Beach
and Pasadena. Sun Diego had one in Balboa Park for years that
was finally closed - leakage- and replaced with a velodrome.
The SD Fly Fishers run clinics and classes at Lake Murray.
Recently attended an event at the Pasadena Club in the Arroyo Seco
region. Nice pond and club; super friendly people. Lets
    build more of these.
    Best,

We also have a casting pond in Oakland, near HWY 24 and Redwood Rd. A great resource.

    Carl,
My info was definitely not up to date. Thanks for the correction. Hope others will
chip in if they have one in their area. I know the Kiene folks have the American River.

    Carl,
I was unaware of the casting pond in Santa Rosa. Where about is it located?
