Default 8'3" 6wt Yellow Fenwick Fiberglass Rod for Sale

8’3” Yellow Fenwick. 3/1, 6wt. I bought this blank a number of years ago from Fred Paddock who trimmed a 102-6 blank and installed spigot ferrules. I just got around to finishing it out. The reel seat is a top quality Venneri reverse N/S S/L seat with cherry spacer. The grip is a low profile full wells. The wraps are henna-colored silk with a carbide stripper and chrome snakes. Comes with a custom twill bag, no tube. $115 shipped to CONUS

I use to build rods myself many years ago.

That is the way I wrapped my guides too.

Just simple brown thread and many blanks were yellow.

Most were either Lamiglass or Grizzly Fenwick fiberglass one piece blanks.

At first you could not buy a Fenwick rod blank with a Feralite ferrule.

You could only get their Feralite ferrule if you bought a new Fenwick rod.

You had to use a metal ferrule or a fiberglass spigot ferrule.

PS: That would be a sweet rod to own............put an old reel on it like a 1495 Pflueger Medalist or old Hardy Princess.

I think this classifieds works well for many, including myself.

Pictures always help but are not always necessary.

If it is something newer try to put up a link to the manufacturer's page on it.

Also, having the price of the product new along with your asking price helps people see the value of things.

The only thing that kills a sale is if you want 90% of new for your used stuff.

I figure 50% of new is a great price if you want to sell something used.

We sell lots of new stuff at the shop that has been discontinued for 40% to 50% off daily.
