The Lake Davis CM Snail
I thought I'd post this video on a fly I've talked about here in the past, the CM Snail. This is a fly I've found to be very effective on my home water, Lake Davis. It's bit lengthy, sorry, but I did want to point out why I feel it works and also give a bit of a tribute to the passing of no less than a legend, Jay Fair.

Sonny, the black lab, ran ahead to make sure there were no gophers or jackrabbits in the way. If you don't give a dog a specific job, he'll improvise one for himself and it will invariably be fun. There's a lesson there.
