Don't get your hopes up! They're calling for 3.16 inches of rain up at my house in Rescue on Monday
That'll change the plans for flood control and open up the flow again.
Was kidding about the any day now thing...
It wouldn't surprise me if we don't see clear water and fishable levels until shad time. I'm intrigued to see how these flows have changed the river - flows were higher in 97, but I don't recall it being this high for this long, and created some major changes. Think we'll have a new river this spring!

Yes, this is the longest period of continuous, high flows I've ever witnessed on the Lower AR... Nothing like this has occurred in the POST-dam era...
Indeed, we will have a much changed and improved river.
Should be well scoured and clean as a whistle come time for the lower flows.
