Default Introducing: The Tartar Tot Bluegill

Here's a bluegill pattern I recently came up with (for muskies). It's still in R&D / swim tests, but you get the idea.

I like it! Does it have weight in it, just asking to see if it will track right?

    Default Tartar Tot Fly....

I like it too. It's got some translucency to it. Got some size, too, and will maintain the vertical body look. Are all Bluegill of subdued colors back there (where Muskies live)??

It does not, but I always use sinking lines anywhere from intermediate to a 30 foot head of 6 ips, so it tracks fine. I'm debating whether to add a third shank/segment to get more of a wiggle swimming action. Right now it's more of a side to side jackknife (which is good for muskies). Ideally, I'd like to get it so I can swim it fairly straight with a wiggle action, but make it jackknife with a big strip/stop.

Hmmm....maybe I'll give it a go down in the Delta.
