According to the flows info the yuba is down near 3250cfs. Any thoughts? looking to get a line wet this weekend

I was just about to ask the very same thing!!! I suppose it's all dependent on the clarity now. Hopefully there's still some fish left in the river after those long term raging flows.

Two days ago the Y was at 10,000, last night 6,000, then this morning 3,250. With flow changes this drastic it is unlikely the fish will be in the mood. Also, abrupt flow changes of this magnitude are usually accompanied by erosion which won't help water clarity.

Talked with some people last night who had seen the river this week. Apparently, it's still off in color, supposedly, despite being stable at 3200-3300 for several days now. I didn't drive over the river on the way to Grass Valley last night, so I can't give a first hand account.

I drove by there over the weekend and the water was pretty murky then too.

I stopped on my way home today from work at the hwy 20 bridge spot. Its still pretty high and murky. It didn't look fishable to me but maybe if you have a boat?

Its not brown, more greenish milk color. Zero insects. Zero fishermen. There is fishable water at these flows. Cold water, like low/mid 40s.

Thanks Lance, it was a real treat to be on the Yuba again.
