Me and a fishing budy fished it last Saturday in the low flow and the high flow. Clarity was good and the flow was normal......surprising! I thought for sure it was going to be colored up , but visibity was really good. I'm sure it's a diff story now!

According to the Oroville Dam recording the flow in the low flow is still low - 800 cfs. Seems like it should be ok. Especially by Friday.

Low flow tends to stay very stable at 800, but the question is clarity. All the valley rivers are like chocolate milk right now and I would bet the Feather is no exception. How much it will clear by weekend is uncertain but my guess is "not too much".

That's a good point. I should probably call FishFirst up there before going. Thanks.

I'm having trouble finding feather river low flow section flow information. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Monday, they were moving a ton of water through the LF (I'm guessing 10K-ish). The range off Rabe is also flooded beyond ~130 yards or so. It's likely going to be a while before things dry out around Oroville.

Release from Oroville is 12,000 CFS no fishing here for awhile. So much water they are probably sending it down to the Kern Water Bank.... That way they can plant more pistachios in the valley....
