Default Swinging for Steel Lower AR

    Hey all,

First time post on the forums here and wanted to start a discussion on favorite steelhead fly to swing for winter steel. I just started tying flies and have been tying up Slump Busters and variations of Marabou and hobo spey flies and now looking for suggestions. With that said, if you could only swing 2 flies all winter long on the lower AR what would they be? -Tight Lines. Mike

I've had pretty good luck with this pattern the past couple of years.

2"-3" Black leech patterns, or Olive sculpin patterns. I've had luck with all steelhead colors, orange, pink and purple.
