    Default Steelhead hooks

I'm looking for some non-black steelhead/salmon hooks, same shape as a Tiemco 7999/Daiichi 2441. Bronze would be dee-luxe, silvery would be second best. I know alec Jackson makes spey hooks in bronze, that's not the shape/size I'm looking for.
What say you sirs? Know of a manufacturer?

A buddy tied some flies on a silver-ish hook, like the nickel colored hooks Daiichi makes, but can't remember who makes them.

    Thanks in advance!

I've seen some Nickel colored ones by Mustad at Sportsmans Warehouse. Not sure of the actual Model number though.

I've also seen these from Sierra Trading Post. http://www.sierratradingpost.com/tie...-pack~p~5305d/

    Hope that helps!

    John,

My suggestion would be Gamakatsu T10-6H. These have the black nickel finish that are the grayish-silver you speak of. They are very, very sharp and strong. Plus, they're reasonably priced.
