I try to make the trip from California to Arkansas at least once a year, and was just back there at our cabin on White River. The Buffalo flows into the trout waters of the White, as does Crooked Creek -- another good Smallmouth stream. Beautiful country, with lots of fish. Spring-fed rivers about an hour north into Missouri are also good.
