WaterFix in San Diego????

Here's a link to an op-ed article that recently appeared in the San Diego Union by Mark Cowin, Director of DWR supporting WaterFix (the Delta tunnels) as the only solution to San Diego's water needs:

This op-ed is in opposition to concerns/questions about WaterFix raised and chastises locals to get on board.

I sure hope so. But I've gotta give them (DWR) credit for continuing efforts as long as they have.
