Anybody been to the lower Yuba since the storm? Is it blown out? Thanks.

Glad I got to fish it before the "internet bite" started today. Saw a grand total of four anglers over
The weekend.

Thanks for the props Jake! I'm hoping you can make it to our "Yuba River Jubilee" on February 18th 2017 at Hammond Grove. It's an event where we give back to the Yuba River and educate the public with conservation groups like the many my family was involved with for the last 46 years.
Best of luck to you out there - J.

When you figure out which non-profit proceeds go I might consider going. Some have been doing their fare share for the river, believe it or not, without the boasting part. On that note---if you really want to see improvement with the river start below Daguerre dam and start with a non profit that's focused on that stretch.

spoken like someone who needs to fish more and be cranky on the internet less.
The word is definitely out, through various sources. Took yesterday off to fish and it was a real goat rodeo out there...very crowded by Yuba standards, felt like Sailor Bar a bit in places.
Remember good river ethics don't change just because the fish are biting.
I was very surprised how poor the fishing was for me at least, hopefully my other 20+ comrades I saw on the river did better than I did. Even the egg bite doesn't make the Yuba a "slam dunk".
