Default Pyramid Weekend Forecast and Fishing Report - Its Ladder Time

If you are fishing Pyramid lake this weekend please read the advisories and the weather forecast. There have been several drownings and at least three capsized boats since the opener. There are lots of anglers who fish Pyramid this time of year from float tubes and pontoon boats and do not have experience on this huge lake. Opening weekend was very dangerous and this weekend looks the same. Lets get the word out before we lose anyone else this weekend.

This is why we normally fish the lake from ladders and from shore for most of the season. The early season float tube bite is waining fast as it usually does after the first 10 days of October. The bait is spread out and the shore anglers are doing as well or better than the float tubers the last few days. Make sure you fish the sun up bite. 6:45 am to about 9:00 am has been the best. Normal patterns like the Midnight Cowboy, Martini Olive and White Ghost Tadpole are hard to beat.
