    Default Davis Lake wading only?

I gave my 15 year old pontoon boat way the other day. Should have kept it for a couple more weeks. I'm thinking about fishing Davis Lake next week. I know some people wade fish there, but is it worth trying to wade fish there all day? Are there boat rentals at the lake? Thanks Mike

October is a top month on Davis Lake.

You can wade on the points of the West side.

Sounds like wading is working right now, water temps have dropped and fish are in the shallows on the west and north ends. We will be up this weekend to give it a shot! Actually I will be watching my brothers have all the fun, I'm 9 weeks post shoulder surgery so I will be the photographer. I'm almost there, can't wait!!! Will post pics if it turns out well!!

Yes, you can wade fish Davis all day. If you have a pair of lug soled boots wear those instead of felt soled boots. You won't slip around as much.
