    Default Grabbing a quick hour

With a little guy at home and the outboard in the shop for a long time I was well overdue for a night on the Delta.

Grabbed a buddy that I just got back into fishing and been showing him some ropes on the Delta.

I went with my gut and saw a line of white birds along a bank. Fished it for an hour with well over 20 TW grabs between LMB and little stripers.

I knew there was a big LMB lurking close by and turns out I was right and I found her and she inhaled my Jumbo Pole Dancer:

Back at it again Saturday with my old man.

Then next Thursday I have the pleasure of having Mr. Dan LeCount in my boat.

    Life is good

I think this is the second season for bass and panfish.....just as it cools a little.

My brother was out as well and seemed like the fish were on the chew everywhere. I think this little front we had come in made the fish hungry.

Great job getting your buddy back into fishing Dave! That's good stuff. Super impressive topwater fish too! Must have been an awesome experience. Going with the gut and having persistence pays once again! Great follow up post too. I've been too busy to go after bass myself lately and your reports are the next best thing. Thanks for keeping us posted!

Dang dude! You're driving me nuts! I won't get back up there for a few weeks. Hope you don't stick all the fish before then.

BTW, I still owe you a reel for the baby's room. I'll give you a heads up before I head that way.
