    Default MF Feather - Milsap

Anyone been to MF Feather, Milsap area, recently? Thinking of heading up that way Sunday or Monday. Flows look pretty decent and I'm guessing the cooler nights should be helping water temps

Will post a report when we return

I think October would be good but it has been in the 40s at night up there.

We ended up hitting MF Feather at Milsap yesterday. Explored a trib higher up in the morning and got a few little guys. It was fun exploring a new creek. Then, headed down to Milsap and worked our way up a trib from 11-3. Had a blast....constant action the whole time, dry dropper, for 9-11" ers. Took a quick break and then did the evening set on the main stem. It was definatley slower in numbers, but got into a few good size fish. Had a reminder on importance of knots, as I lost two hogs on broken knots. Flows were at 170cfs on MF and there was still lots of good water to fish. Water temps were around 58-59. All in all, a great day.
