I held onto this rod for a long time, but I can finally let go of it....... I think..... It went on a few memorable trips with me and served its purpose well. Interesting in that this rod performs really well with many of the modern fly lines available....

I know there are a few fans of this series fly rods out there so here's a chance to buy it......

The fly rod has been fished....... The wraps and finish are pretty darn good for a rod as old as it is..... I do not see anything odd or out of the ordinary in the fit and finish of the fly rod. Cork is fine and smooth. There no gauges or chunks of cork missing, etc. A little soap and warm water will brighten the cork up instantly. The rod has been stored in its sock and tube for the past 12 years as it was not fished during that span.

It's every bit of a #9. It was handy to have for Coho and Stripers.

The color of the blank alone is classic. And, is the reason why I kept it for so long....... It's a classic series.
