Thread: How often do you use your drift boat/raft?

    Not nearly enough. I keep mine at my Trinity house and get out as often as I can on the lower Sac. Bring it back and forth to home to fish the American a couple of times a year. Sac trips average about 3-4 per year. I don't do the Trinity because I fish the upper section and its really too small for a drift boat. A drift boat going down the Trinity is audible for half a mile as it bounces from rock to rock and slides over the shallow gravel bars. I haven't floated the American much the last two years. I will be taking it east for some floats in the mountain west the next few years.
    do it with a long rod and a gentle touch.

    How often do you use your boat?

    Many have boats they don't get a chance to use much...
