Default Sage Xi2 1191-4 (11 wt, 9',4 pc), great shape!

Yep, a beautiful rod, in great condition, with a factory tube and sock.

This is the "Non Foregrip" version of the 11 weight, which is not very common. Sage, as a default, typically installs foregrips on the 11 weights and heavier, but offers some without foregrips. I personally prefer how the rods handle and cast WITHOUT the foregrip, as do many veteran salt fly fishers,, such as Flip Pallot. The late great Bob Nauheim fished a 11 wt rod, as a substitute for a 10 weight and a 12 weight, as he felt it offered the power of a 12 weight but the castability and handling of a 10 weight.

Nearly everything about the rod is impeccable and the cork is clean except...the only negative on this rod is there is a slight "chip" in the cork grip, at the bottom of the grip (see the attached pics).

Here's what Sage says about the Xi2:

Manufacturers Description:"Built with our innovative new Generation 5 technology, these rods are at once lighter and more lively than their predecessors. But that's only the beginning. The truly revolutionary benefits of the Xi2 are revealed when you cast it. The Modulus Positioning System (MPS) we developed for these rods provides a startling level of "line feel" throughout the casting stroke. This enhanced ability to feel the rod load allows you to apply power more efficiently. Which, in turn, means tighter loops, better wind penetration and more distance. Xi2 Series rods also feature new, lower profile, oversized guides and a round tip-top guide to reduce friction, as well as an improved, saltwater-safe reel seat. No matter which saltwater challenges you face—from bonefish to billfish—the Xi2 lets you concentrate on the fish instead of your casting. That's fishability. Test cast the new Xi2. We think you'll see why we consider it the finest saltwater fly rod ever made. "

Remarkable made in the USA rod offered at a great price, a price less than overseas rods.

$275 excluding negotiable shipping (depending on where you are) and Paypal fees (if any).
