Rogue River hike
Hiked the Rogue River wild & scenic canyon last week. Stayed at lodges each of the 4 nights so we didn't have to schlep around tents, sleeping bags, pads, cook gear and food. Total of around 40 miles. I think there were 3 king snakes seen, a couple garter snakes, no bears, a couple grey squirrels, bald eagles, osprey, grosbeaks, tanagers, flycatchers, vireos, warblers, and I heard an owl but couldn't find it in the trees. Didn't take a lot of photos but here's a couple.

That's a great river.
Cool pics of some of the inhabitants. I didn't know about the lodge availability there, sounds like a great way to hike.

Thanks guys. Sean, the lodge method is certainly convenient and more comfy for people not interested in camping. BUt it is a little pricey and they're starting to give priority to the raft companies. Here's one more shot of Flora Dell falls.
